Congratulations and heartfelt thanks to the Mystic Krewe of the XIIth Night Revelers on their most successful fundraiser to date, raising more than $51,000 to support the Peabody Foundation's arts education programming.
Mardi Gras For The Peabody Foundation – A Party With A Purpose! was held on February 3, 2024 at The Shores Resort & Spa. The event featured New Orleans themed hors d'oeuvres, raw oyster bar compliments of The Oyster Pub, traditional King Cake, music by Then2Now and DJ Jukebox Bully, a variety of entertainers, stunning centerpieces by Zahn's Flowers, and an amazing silent auction of over 60 items thanks to the generosity of community businesses. The highlight of the evening was the crowd joining the Krewe in the traditional second line featuring live music and culminating in the crowning of the 2024 Mardi Gras King Jim Tobin and Queen Virginia Waikins.

Become a Member of the Mystic Krewe of the XIIth Night Revelers
The Mystic Krewe of the XIIth Night Revelers is a membership-based carnival committee of the Peabody Foundation comprised of a diverse group of men and women that support art and culture in Volusia County, Florida. Its mission is to celebrate Mardi Gras, promote cultural awareness and raise support to benefit the Peabody Foundation.
Any man or woman, age 21+, who wants to have fun and support the Peabody Foundation’s mission can join. Annual membership is $250pp and payment is made at the time of application. Membership dues entitle you to one VIP admission to the annual Mardi Gras for The Peabody Foundation – A Party with a Purpose!, attendance at planning meetings, social networking events, voting privileges for the annual King and Queen and FUN!
