Providing Arts Education to the Community
Engagement in the arts is essential to every student, teacher, and community member. With this belief at its core, the Peabody Auditorium Foundation is committed to assuring each student receives a well-rounded education, each teacher has the tools and resources to reach every student and every community member has access to meaningful arts experiences.
Arts Education For Children
In 2017, the Peabody Auditorium Foundation launched Youth + Art = Success! - an annual arts education outreach program that provides underserved, low-income youth with the opportunity to attend cultural programs, free of charge, at the Peabody Auditorium.
The Foundation envisions a world where every child has access to and takes part in high-quality and lifelong learning experiences in the arts, both in school and in the community. Students that experience the arts develop critical thinking, collaboration, confidence, problem-solving, and creative skills, as well as have better grade point averages, score better on standardized tests in reading and math and have lower dropout rates - important skills necessary to succeed in our ever-changing world.
